Q: What if we need to cancel?

A: If you need to cancel we will accept cancellations until 5pm the day before your event. Once the order has been loaded on the truck you will be responsible for payment. If you cancel at least the day before your event you will be given a rain check that is good for 1 year for the deposit and any other money paid toward the rental.

Q: What if it rains?

A: If the weather is uncertain, the decision to cancel is yours. You will still need to make the decision to cancel by 5pm the day before your event. Your deposit will be retained, and you will have a full year to use your credit. If you decide to go ahead with your reservation, payment is due on delivery and is non-refundable. If you have already paid in full the entire amount paid will available to you as store credit to be used towards a rental at a later date.

Q: Does the price include set up and delivery?

A: Yes, although additional fees may apply for areas farther out.

Q: Do you deliver to other cities?

A: Yes, but once again please be aware that due to rising gas prices and the possible need for an extra truck and labor that travel fees can be quite high. Please call our office for a current quote.

Q: When do you set up?

A: That depends on how many rentals we have that day. Generally we arrive 1-3 hours before the rental time begins. If we have a lot of rentals that day, we may need to set up as early as 4 hours in advance. If this is the case, we will call the day before to confirm that someone will be at the party location.

Q: Do we have to keep it plugged in the entire time?

A: Yes. A blower keeps air in the jump unit the entire time. Once unplugged they deflate. That’s why we require an outlet within 50´ of the unit or a generator. Longer cords can pop your circuit breaker so we bring our own heavy duty cords.

Q: What about parks? Do parks have electricity?

A: We love setting up at parks but most parks do NOT have electricity. If you want to set up at a park, you must rent a generator. We rent generators at a reasonable cost. Also, parks are first come, first serve so get your spot early in the day.

Q: Do you require a deposit?

A: Yes all orders require a $50 Credit Card deposit. If you cancel at least 24 hours prior to your rental you will be given a rain check that is good for 1 year.

Q: What surfaces do you set up on?

A: We can set up on Grass (our favorite and best for the kids), dirt, asphalt, and concrete. Sorry, we can’t set up on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl jumps.

Q: Can we see a copy of your contract and safety rules?

A: Yes. There is a link in your receipt once you’ve ordered or you may contact our office.

Q: Are we responsible for the unit if it gets a tear or damaged in any way?

A: Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation. If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars. We don’t want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.

Q: How long can I keep the bouncer?

A: Our prices are “ALL DAY” prices. We don’t have hourly prices. We will deliver your unit before the start of your party and pick it up the next day. All day does not mean 24 hours. All day is from delivery time until the next day at pickup. Pickup can be as early as 7am. We do not guarantee pickup times for overnight rentals.

Q: How soon should I reserve my bouncer?

A: You want to reserve as soon as possible to ensure you receive the bouncer of your choice. Only $35 deposit is required to reserve your bouncer and can be made with a credit card by phone.

Q: How do I reserve a bouncer?

A: Reservations are accepted at 630-554-2499. A credit card is required to reserve bouncers over the phone. The deposit required to reserve bouncers is $50. Larger orders over $300 will require a 25% deposit.

Q: What type of payments are accepted?

A: Credit card payments are preferred however payment can be made in cash upon delivery. The $35 deposit is still necessary to reserve. Checks are not accepted.

Q: Can we use the inflatable bounce house in bad weather?

A: Everybody’s safety is our number one concern. Wind over 25mph or rain will compromise safety. If the wind is expected to be over 25mph or rain is in the forecast, we will call prior to the installation. If we complete the installation, you will be charged the full rental fee.

Q: How many children can jump at once?

A: Each inflatable bouncer has different limitations. We will provide the renter with an information sheet regarding each individual bouncer at the time of installation. There must be an adult present to supervise children jumping on the bouncer at all times, all limitations on the information sheet provided must be strictly adhered to. The Bouncy Store will not be held responsible for any damages while the bouncer is in renter’s possession.

Q: How big are the bouncers?

A: The bouncers vary in size, but our average jumper is 15’x 15′.

Q: Do you offer Free Delivery & Setup?

A: Yes, we offer free delivery and setup in some areas. Some areas with excessive traveling may be subject to delivery charge. (See Delivery Area)

Q: Who will install and secure the inflatable?

A: We will deliver and install all the equipment. All bouncers need to be secured to the ground for safety. On soft surfaces such as grass we will drive stakes into the ground. The renter must be sure that there are no underground cables or pipes that will be compromised. If you are unsure about the location of underground utilities, please contact the local authorities, have them verify the location. We have each renter sign a disclaimer separating us from any responsibility regarding damaged utilities.

Q: Are you Insured?

A: Yes, we carry 1,000,000 insurance liability coverage.
